Quick answer
Semester average = sum of mark × module credits ÷ total included credits. Set credits to zero to exclude an unused row.
Worked example
Modules at 60% for 12 credits and 75% for 24 credits give (60 × 12 + 75 × 24) ÷ 36 = 70%. The larger module has twice the influence.
How to use the result
Enter marks as percentages and credits in the same unit for all rows. A zero-mark module with positive credits still counts. An unused row has zero credits. This percentage average is not automatically a GPA, a progression decision or a classification of your qualification.
